PLANS for a waterfront development of more than 300 innovative self-heating homes in Hunslet have been given the green light by Leeds City Council planning chiefs.

The development in Hunslet, on six acres of brownfield land at Low Fold, off East Street and South Accommodation Road, will include 150 energy-efficient houses and 162 flats – 16 of which will be classified as ‘affordable’.
