Looking for an experienced quantity surveyor to work as an integral part of our commercial team. The successful candidate will take commercial responsibility for the project, from procurement, managing costs achieving Citus Health & Safety, Sustainability and Quality objectives, on time and on budget whilst protecting Citus financial position.
Essential experience:
- Minimum 2.1 BSc RICS Accredited Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Specialist knowledge of some of the following trades: Groundworks, Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure, Structures, Cladding & Roofing, Finishes
- Excellent organisational ability (sets the project/team/Sub-Contractor’s up to succeed)
- Relationship building
- Great attention to detail
- First-rate verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiating, empathy, managing expectations
- Strong IT skills
OUTCOME 1:
Long-term mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with the development led supply chain which are aligned with Citu’s values, enabling the Business Plan.
OUTCOME 2:
The project build cost achieved or bettered the Stage Gateway cost plan.
OUTCOME 3:
Stage 5 cost plan is populated and accurately maintained using as built information.
OUTCOME 4:
Contractual notices to Sub-Contractors were issued accurately and on time.
OUTCOME 5:
Commercial report inputs were completed accurately, in full and on time.
OUTCOME 6:
All future cost plan estimates were accurate as a result of a database of up to date construction costs and market testing.
