It’s been twelve months since Green’s Grocers opened its doors at the Climate Innovation District, and what a year it’s been. From morning coffees to lunchtime salads, the independent grocer has quickly become the beating heart of our neighbourhood – a place where residents bump into each other over sourdough, where conversations flow as freely as the coffee, and where the shelves are stocked with produce that tells a story.
And now, as Green’s blows out its first birthday candle, they’re adding something new to the mix: a carefully curated wine bar, open Tuesday through Friday evenings.

The expansion feels like a natural evolution. Green’s has always been more than just a shop – it’s been a community anchor, the kind of place that makes a neighbourhood feel like home. The new wine bar offering builds on this foundation, creating a space where the working day can gently transition into evening, where neighbours can linger over a glass of something carefully selected, paired with deli snacks and nibbles.
The wines have been chosen with the same thoughtfulness that goes into every aspect of Green’s offering – small producers, interesting varietals, bottles with a story behind them. By the glass service means you can explore without commitment, try something new, or return to a favourite.

So here’s to Green’s Grocers: happy first birthday. We’ll see you for a glass of wine.
Green’s Grocers wine bar is open Tuesday to Friday evenings. Pop in after work to explore the selection.
